On a different network? Check with your carrier's customer service to see if they offer call forwarding / call divert.
Some carriers need a number to send your calls to. You get that number the moment you join Guardian Dial — so joining is the first step, not jumping the gun.
Here's exactly what happens:
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Join Guardian Dial | Choose your AI voice, customise your script, and connect your calendar. You'll get your own dedicated Guardian Dial number as part of setup — this is the number your carrier needs. |
| 2. Everything is saved | Your AI agent, your customised script, your calendar connection and your new number are all securely saved to your account — nothing is lost, nothing needs redoing. |
| 3. Give your new Guardian Dial number to your carrier | Ask them to enable conditional forwarding on all conditions (no reply, busy, and unreachable) — this makes sure every missed call reaches your AI receptionist. |
| 4. Usually done within 24 hours | Most carriers enable forwarding within a day. We build in a 5-day grace period on top of that, so there's no pressure on you while it's sorted. |
| 5. Carrier confirms it's done | Go to guardiandial.com, select Client Office, and log in. |
| 6. Check if I'm Live | You'll land straight on your Activation page — just tap "Check if I'm Live." |
| 7. You're live | You now have the keys to your own online office and an active AI Receptionist, ready to take every call — plus a fresh welcome pack showing you how it all works. |
